Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard, 34, is wanted by French club AS Monaco. The England midfielder's contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has postponed his wedding after Los Angeles Galaxy stepped up their efforts to bring the 34-year-old to Major League Soccer.

Los Angeles Galaxy striker Robbie Keane wants Lampard to replace David Beckham at the Major League Soccer club. "Hopefully we can get him," said Keane.

Everton are planning a bid to tempt Frank Lampard to Goodison Park. They are willing to offer the Chelsea midfielder a three-year deal if he agrees to remain within their pay structure, which has a maximum of £80,000 per week.

Lampard has offers from around the world for when his deal expires this summer, and the midfielder currently favours a switch to Premier League leaders Manchester United.

Lampard could still end up moving to Italian side AC Milan.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is set to move to the United States and join LA Galaxy. Galaxy want the 34-year-old for the start of the new MLS season but the Blues could insist on keeping the midfielder until the end of the Premier League season in May.
