Southampton have made a revised offer to Swansea for defender Nathan Wood as they seek a replacement for Armel Bella-Kotchap, who seems likely to move to the Bundesliga in the next week with either Borussia Dortmund or Bayern Munich.

Burnley failed in a bid for 17-year-old Middlesbrough's English defender Nathan Wood in the summer but will try to sign him again in January.
