Tottenham are looking at Juventus and England Under-21 forward Samuel Iling-Junior, 20, as a possible signing in January.

Manchester City are interested in Chelsea and England defender Reece James, 23, as a long-term replacement for 33-year-old compatriot Kyle Walker.

Tottenham Hotspur are also considering a move for Crystal Palace's England forward Eberechi Eze, 25, after a move for Nottingham Forest's Wales forward Brennan Johnson, 22, stalled.

Chelsea could launch a bid for Brentford's £80m-rated England striker Ivan Toney, 27, before the transfer window shuts on 1 September.

Tottenham are at loggerheads with Nottingham Forest over the fee to sign Brennan Johnson, with the East Midlands club unwilling to let the 22-year-old forward leave for anything less than £40m.
